Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the endgate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Endgate .
  2. Remove the endgate water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Endgate .
  3. Remove the endgate handle. Refer to Handle Replacement - Endgate .
  4. Remove the endgate bellcrank. Refer to Bellcrank Replacement - Endgate .
  5. Remove the endgate latches. Refer to Latch Replacement - Endgate .
  6. Remove the liftgate latches. Refer to Latch Replacement - Liftgate (Aztek) .
  7. Remove the endgate lock cylinder. Refer to Lock Cylinder Replacement - Endgate .
  8. Remove the endgate weatherstrip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Endgate .
  9. Remove the endgate hinge bolts.

  10. Remove the endgate from the vehicle, with an assistant.

  11. Remove the endgate wiring harness.
  12. Remove the endgate rear panel molding. Refer to Molding Replacement - Rear Panel .
