Removal Procedure

Raise the hood. Support the hood with something other than the hood hold-open rod.
Remove the hood hold-open rod from the retainers.
Pull the bottom of the rod toward you in order to release the rod from the bottom retainer.
Remove the retainers from the radiator support.
