Removal Procedure

Remove outlet duct and resonator. Refer to AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT in Engine Controls.
Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECT/CONNECT PROCEDURE .
Disconnect the positive battery cable at the battery.
Lift fuse/relay center to access power lead bolt.
Remove power lead bolt from fuse/relay center.
Cut the tape holding the 2 cables together at the retainer on the battery tray.

Cut the tape holding the 2 cables together near the transmission electrical plug.

Remove the positive battery cable to starter solenoid nut.
Remove the positive battery cable from the vehicle.
