DTC B1001: Option Configuration Error: Description

Body Control Module (BCM) can be configured with applicable vehicle options. DTC B1001 will set if BCM was not configured either at assembly plant or after replacement. A current DTC B1001 will clear when BCM is properly programmed, or after 100 ignition cycles with condition no longer existing.
