Removal Procedure

Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door (Aztek) or Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door (Rendezvous) .
Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door .
Remove the center of the rivets using a center punch.

Drill out the rivet from the rear inside door handle using a 6.35 mm (1/4 in) drill bit.

Remove the rear inside door handle from the rear door inner panel.

Remove the lock rod and door handle rod from the rear inside door handle.
