Removal Procedure
- Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door (Aztek) or Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door (Rendezvous) .
- Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door .
- Remove the outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Outer .
- Remove the inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Inner .
- Remove the window. Refer to Window Replacement - Rear Door .
- Remove the frame applique. Refer to Door Frame Applique Replacement - Rear .
- Remove the window regulator. Refer to Window Regulator Replacement - Rear Door .
- Remove the outside door handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Rear Outside .
- Remove the inside door handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Rear Inside .
- Remove the lock. Refer to Lock Replacement - Rear Door .
- Remove the window weatherstrip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Rear Door Window .
- Remove the rubber conduit. Refer to Rubber Conduit Replacement - Rear Door .
- Remove the wiring harness. Refer to Wiring Harness Replacement - Rear Door .
- Remove the body side moldings. Refer to Molding Replacement - Rear Door Body Side (Aztek) or Molding Replacement - Rear Door Body Side (Rendezvous) in Exterior Trim.
- Support the rear door.
- Remove the bolt from the upper hinge keeper strap.
- Remove the bolts from the lower door hinge side.
- With the help of an assistant, remove the rear door from the upper hinge.
- Remove the upper hinge from the rear door. Refer to Hinge Replacement - Rear Door .
