Installation Procedure

  1. Install the endgate inner reinforcement panel to the endgate.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the bolts retaining the inner reinforcement panel to the endgate.

    Tighten:  Tighten the inner reinforcement bolts to 25 N.m (18.4 lb ft).

  3. Install the endgate control module. Refer to Module Rear Body Control Replacement - Endgate .
  4. Install the endgate inner trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Endgate (Envoy XUV) .
