Removal Procedure
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
in General Information.
- Remove the engine splash shield. Refer to Splash Shield Replacement - Engine
in Body Front End.
- Remove the power steering gear heat shield. Refer to Power Steering Gear Heat Shield Replacement .
- Disconnect the cooler pipe low pressure line from the power steering gear.

- Disconnect the low pressure hose from the cooler pipe.
- Disconnect the wiring harness from the cooler bracket studs.
- Remove the cooler pipe bracket retaining studs and screws.
- Remove the cooler pipe.
