Removal Procedure

- Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
- Remove the electronic brake control module (EBCM) from the vehicle. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) Replacement .
- Remove the left front brake pipe.
- Remove the right front brake pipe.
- Remove the rear brake pipe.
- Remove the brake pipe to the brake master cylinder.
IMPORTANT:
In the following service procedures, insert rubber plugs or caps on the exposed brake pipe fittings to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
