Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the spark plug wire. Refer to Spark Plug Wire Replacement .
  2. Remove the washer solvent container to gain access to the #2 spark plug. Refer to Washer Solvent Container Replacement (Envoy, TrailBlazer) or Washer Solvent Container Replacement (Rainier) in Wiper/Washer Systems.
  3. Loosen the spark plug 1 or 2 turns.
  4. Brush or using compressed air, blow away any dirt from around the spark plug.
  5. Remove the spark plug.

    If removing more than one plug, place each plug in a tray marked with the corresponding cylinder number.
