Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2004 GMC Envoy XUV, 2004 GMC Envoy XL, 2004 GMC Envoy, and 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Install the coolant recovery reservoir.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the coolant recovery reservoir bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
Install the coolant recovery reservoir nut.
Tighten: Tighten the nut to 10 N.m (88 lb in).
Install the coolant hose to the coolant recovery reservoir (2).
Install the accumulator. Refer to Accumulator Replacement .
Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls - 4.2L or to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls - 5.3L.
