Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to SIR Caution in Cautions and Notices.

Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 in SIR.
Remove the upper and lower trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
Tilt the column to the CENTER position.
Disconnect the connectors from the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly.
Remove 2 pan head tapping screws from the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly.
Remove the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly.
