Installation Procedure

  1. Install the fuel and EVAP lines to the vehicle.

  2. Install the fuel line bracket pop rivets.
    3. Fig 2: View Of Stone Guard Nuts & Bolts

  3. Install the bolts (2) and the nuts (1) to the stone guard.
  4. Install the fuel and EVAP lines at the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .
  5. Install the fuel and EVAP lines at the engine compartment. Refer to Fuel Hose/Pipes Replacement - Engine Compartment .
  6. Inspect for leaks.
    1. Turn ON the ignition for 2 seconds.
    2. Turn OFF the ignition for 2 seconds.
    3. Turn ON the ignition.
    4. Inspect for fuel leaks.
