Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the seat back cover and pad assembly. Refer to Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Front .
  2. Pry the EZ-Entry release lever retaining clip (1) from the release mechanism.
  3. Disconnect the return spring (2) from the release mechanism and seat back frame.

  4. Remove the seat back rest filler block lock nuts (1), and the filler block (2).
  5. Remove the seat back release lever tie strap mounted to the back of the lumbar support mechanism.

  6. Remove two lumbar support assembly retainers (1).

  7. Depress the lumbar support shaft retaining tab (1) from the inner side of the seat back frame.
  8. Rotate the lumbar support shaft (2) and remove from the seat back frame.

  9. Disconnect the 2 lumbar support springs (1).

  10. Remove the lumbar support assembly (1).

  11. Remove the 2 head restraint retaining screws (1).

  12. Pull the head restraint (1), downward and remove from the seat back frame.

  13. Depress the tab (1), on the head restraint frame sleeve (2) and remove from the seat back rest frame.

  14. Remove the head restraint frame hinge spring (1).
