Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.

NOTE: Refer to Catalytic Converter Movement Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Support the exhaust system.
Remove the catalytic converter pipe hangers.
Inspect the catalytic converter brackets for serviceability. Repair or replace as necessary.
