Installation Procedure

Position the shifter on the studs and install the front 2 nuts.

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
Install the 2 rear bolts.

Tighten: Tighten the nuts and bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
Install the shift cables. Refer to Shift Control Cable Replacement .
Install the console. Refer toConsole Replacement - Front Floor in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
