Installation Procedure

IMPORTANT: The HO2S 2 comes with an anti-seize coating on the new sensor. Take precautions in order to prevent removal of any of this coating prior to installation.

Install the HO2S 2 (2) into the exhaust pipe.

NOTE: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Tighten the HO2S 2.
Tighten: Tighten the HO2S 2 to 44 N.m (32 lb ft).
Install the HO2S 2 wiring pigtail and body plug (1) into the floor pan.
Lower the vehicle.

Connect the HO2S 2 electrical connector (1).
Install the rear floor console. Refer to Console Replacement - Rear Floor in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
