Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and 2004 Chevrolet Impala. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the digital radio receiver to the receiver bracket.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the digital radio receiver nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the digital radio receiver nuts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connector.
  4. Engage the electrical connector CPA.
  5. Connect the antenna connector.
  6. Align the receiver and bracket assembly to the studs.
  7. Install the receiver bracket nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the receiver bracket nuts to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

  8. Install the harness retainers to the bracket, if necessary.
  9. Install the right rear compartment trim panel.
  10. Perform the setup procedure for the digital radio receiver. Refer to Digital Radio Receiver Setup .
