Removal Procedure

Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer toFuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical-3.8L.
Disconnect the idle air control valve (IAC) electrical connector.

Remove the IAC valve screws.

Remove the IAC valve.

Remove the IAC valve O-ring.
