Installation Procedure

Install the catalytic converter heat shield.
Install the converter heat shield rivets.

Install the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) wiring harness (3) to the catalytic converter heat shield (4).

Install the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement (3.4L) or Catalytic Converter Replacement (3.8L) .
Remove the support from the exhaust system.
Lower the vehicle.
Inspect the exhaust system for leaks.
