Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the garnish molding from the right windshield pillar. Refer toGarnish Molding Replacement - Windshield Pillar in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the right sunshade. Refer to Sunshade Replacement in Interior Trim.
  3. Remove the upper portion of the right front door weatherstrip. Refer toWeatherstrip Replacement - Front Door in Doors.
  4. Remove the sunroof opening trim bezel, if equipped. Refer to Sunroof Finishing Lace Replacement in Roof.
  5. Remove the overhead console, if equipped. Refer to Console Replacement - Overhead in Interior Trim.
  6. Remove the front dome lamp, if equipped.
  7. Lower the front of the headliner. Refer to Headliner Replacement in Interior Trim.
  8. Disconnect the antenna base lead.
  9. Loosen the antenna base nut.
  10. Remove the antenna base.

  11. If necessary, remove the mobile telephone antenna from the base.
