Removal Procedure

  1. Position the window to the full down position.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Paint Damage Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Apply masking tape to the door frame applique/run channel.
  3. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Driver)  or Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Passenger) .
  4. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
  5. Remove the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Mirror Replacement .

  6. Drill out the window run channel rivets (2).
  7. Remove the window run channel (1) from the door.
