Installation Procedure

If required, install the generator battery temperature sensor to the battery.

Install the generator battery (1).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the generator battery bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Install the generator battery cables (1-4) to the batteries.

Install the generator battery cable nuts (1-4) to the battery cable terminals.
Tighten: Tighten the nuts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
Install the generator battery temperature sensor wiring harness. Refer to Generator Battery Temperature Sensor Wiring Harness Replacement .
