Installation Procedure

  1. Thread the front park brake cable through the park brake lever assembly.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the park brake lever assembly and the 2 bolts (2,3).

    Tighten:  Tighten the 2 bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  3. Connect the park brake warning lamp switch connector (1).
  4. Install the trim plate to the console. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Console .
  5. Install the clip that retains the park brake warning lamp switch harness to the transmission tunnel.
  6. Install the adjustment nut and adjust the park brake lever travel. Refer to Park Brake Adjustment  .
  7. Install the right front bucket seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket .
