Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Identifying Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the air inlet duct to the MAF sensor and the throttle body.
Tighten: Tighten the air cleaner duct clamps to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
Connect the IAT sensor electrical connector.
Connect the MAF sensor (1) electrical connector.
Start the engine.
Inspect the air intake duct for leaks.
