Installation Procedure

  1. Install the transaxle brace.
  2. Hand start the bolts to the engine and to the transaxle.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the transaxle brace bolts to the transaxle.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 43 N.m (32 lb ft).

  4. Install the transaxle brace bolts to the engine.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 63 N.m (46 lb ft).

  5. Install the right front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
  7. Connect the battery ground (negative) cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (RPOs L26/L32) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (RPO LS4) in Engine Electrical
