Removal Procedure

Fig 1: Cooler Pipe/Hose & Retaining Clips

Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
If equipped, remove the cooler pipe/hose from the retaining clips on the frame.

If equipped, remove the cooler pipe/hose from the clamps on the steering gear.
Remove the wiring harness clip from the cooler pipe/hose.
Disconnect the power steering pressure hose from the steering gear.
Disconnect the power steering return from the steering gear.
Remove the cooler pipe/hose from the vehicle.
