Circuit/System Testing

- Ignition OFF, inspect the vehicle for signs of inflator module or pretensioner deployment. Verify that the vehicle does not show any signs of inflator deployment.
- If the vehicle displays any signs of inflator deployment, refer to Repairs and Inspections Required After a Collision .
- Use a scan tool and observe the SIR DTC display. The scan tool should indicate DTC B0052, B0053, or B0055 is set.
- Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle and follow the repair for the DTC set.
