Removal Procedure

  1. Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (Static Fill) .
    2. Fig 1: ECT Sensor Electrical Connector

  2. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor electrical connector (4).

  3. Remove the ECT.
