Removal Procedure

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (RPO LS4) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (RPOs L26/L32) in Engine Electrical.
Remove the center console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .

Remove the automatic shift lock actuator from the pivot point (1), the base of the shift lock control and the vehicle.
