Installation Procedure

Position the shield to the vehicle, aligning the front hole stud. Place the rear of the shield under the rear shield and against the underbody.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the nut and tighten.
Tighten: Tighten the heat shield-to-underbody nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Install the rivets.
Install the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement .
