Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT CAUTION .

Disconnect the negative battery cable.

Disconnect the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) electrical connector (1).
Remove the one retaining bolt and the VSS from the transaxle.
Inspect the VSS O-ring for cuts or damage. Replace as necessary.
