Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution .
  1. Ignition OFF.
  2. Remove the alternator. Refer to Generator Replacement (3.6L Engine)  or Generator Replacement (6.0L Engine) .

  3. Remove the alternator bracket to engine block mounting bolts (1).
  4. Remove the alternator bracket (2) from the vehicle.
