Installation Procedure

IMPORTANT: Lower the seat belt retractor (3) at an angle of approximately 30 degrees to attach the seat belt retractor onto the body slot (4).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the rear seat belt retractor to body retaining bolt (2).
Tighten: Tighten the rear seat belt retractor to body retaining bolt (2) to 43 N.m (31 lb ft).

Install the rear seat belt guide assembly (2).
Install the seat belt guide assembly to body retaining bolt (1).
Tighten: Tighten the seat belt guide assembly to body retaining bolt (1) to 43 N.m (32 lb ft).

Install the rear seat belt lower anchor (2).
Install the rear seat belt lower anchor to body retaining bolt (1).
Tighten: Tighten the rear seat belt lower anchor to body retaining bolt (1) to 43 N.m (31 lb ft).
Install the upper rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement .
Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .
