Installation Procedure

- Install the stop lamp switch (1) to the brake pedal bracket (3). Secure the stop lamp switch (1) using one locknut (2). Do not tighten.
- Adjust the stop lamp clearance. Refer to Stop Lamp Switch Adjustment .
- Tighten the locknut (2) for the stop lamp switch (1).
Tighten: Tighten the locknut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Connect the stop lamp switch electrical connector.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
