Circuit/System Verification
- Apply and release the brake pedal. Verify brake lamps operate properly.
- If brake lamps do not operate properly, refer to Symptoms - Lighting Systems
- Verify DTC C0131 is not set.
- If the DTC is set, replace the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) and verify the DTC does not reset. If the DTC resets replace the EBCM.
