Removal Procedure

- Remove the HVAC control assembly. Refer to Heater and Air Conditioning Control Replacement .
- Using a taped flat-bladed tool, disengage the clip and disconnect the temperature control cable (1) from the HVAC module assembly.
- Remove the temperature control cable from the vehicle.
IMPORTANT:
Note the routing of the cable to make installation easier.
