Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front air bag sensor.
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the front air bag sensor mounting bolt (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the side air bag sensor mounting bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Connect the connector (1) to the front air bag sensor (3).
  4. On hatchback vehicles, install the headlamp assembly. Refer to Headlamp Replacement (Notchback) or Headlamp Replacement (Hatchback) .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
