Fuel Tank

The fuel tank stores the fuel supply. The fuel tank is located in the rear of the vehicle. The fuel tank is held in place by 2 metal straps that attach to the under body of the vehicle. The fuel tank is molded from high-density polyethylene. A non-removable molded housing on the bottom of the fuel tank contains the fuel pump module components. The fuel tank vent valves are molded into the inside of the fuel tank on each side. The vent pipes connecting to each fuel tank vent valve are located inside of the fuel tank. The fuel tank vent valves and the vent pipes cannot be serviced separately.
