Installation Procedure

  1. Install the CMP sensor (2) to the engine front cover.
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the CMP sensor to engine front cover retaining bolt (1) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the CMP sensor electrical connector (1) to the CMP sensor (2).
  4. Install the power steering fluid reservoir. Refer to Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Replacement (3.6L Engine) .
