Rear Side Door Window Front Channel Replacement

Preliminary Procedure: 
Remove the rear side door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Enclave) or Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Acadia/OUTLOOK) or Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Traverse) .
1 Rear Side Door Window Front Channel Bolt
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

  1. Remove the water deflector.
  2. Remove the lower section of the channel weatherstrip from the channel.

Tighten:  10 N.m (89 lb in)

2 Rear Side Door Window Front Channel

Procedure

  1. Remove the front door weatherstrip channel by pulling downward to release it from the upper door frame.
  2. When installing the channel ensure that the lower channel aligns with the upper channel before install the channel weatherstrip.
  3. Verify that the window work properly in the channel weatherstrip.
3 Rear Side Door Window Rear Channel Bolt
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

  1. Remove the water deflector.
  2. Remove the lower section of the channel weatherstrip from the channel.

Tighten:  10 N.m (89 lb in)

4 Rear Side Door Window Rear Channel

Procedure

  1. Remove the rear door weatherstrip channel by pulling downward to release it from the upper door rear frame.
  2. When installing the channel ensure that the lower channel aligns with the upper channel before install the channel weatherstrip.
  3. Verify that the window work properly in the channel weatherstrip.
