Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the front caster arm. Refer to Front Lower Control Front Arm Replacement .

    IMPORTANT: The bushing must be lubricated with soapy water solution to ease the removal process.
    IMPORTANT: It is recommended to observe the orientation and the depth of the bushing with reference to the original position. Adhering to this recommendation will minimize the potential of incorrect bush installation.
  5. Remove the front caster arm bushing (2) from the front caster arm (3) using the KM-619  (1) and CH-48510  (4). See Special Tools .
  6. Inspect the front caster arm (3) for damage.
