Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  1. Install the disc brake backing plate (2) to the knuckle (1).
  2. Install the upper disc brake backing plate to knuckle retaining bolt (3).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 60 Nm (44 lb ft).

  3. Install the lower disc brake backing plate to knuckle retaining bolts (4).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 130 Nm (96 lb ft).

  4. Install the wheel hub. Refer to Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement .
  5. Install the wheel hub and knuckle assembly. Refer to Knuckle Replacement .
