Installation Procedure

  1. Install the transmission support to the vehicle.
    2. IMPORTANT: Do not fully tighten the transmission support mounting retaining bolts at this stage.
  2. Install the transmission support to lower sub frame rail retaining bolts.

    Do not fully tighten at this stage.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the transmission support to transmission mount retaining nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  4. Remove the suitable supporting stand from the transmission.

  5. Tighten the transmission support to under body retaining bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 55 N.m (41 lb ft).

  6. Install the exhaust system. Refer to Exhaust System Replacement (LY7) or Exhaust System Replacement (L98) .
  7. Lower the vehicle.
