Circuit/System Testing
- Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Verify that DTC P2401, P2402, or P2419 are not set.
- If the DTCs are set, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle .
- Test for a blockage or restriction in the EVAP air filter and vent inlet hoses.
- If the filter and passages test normal, replace the EVAP vacuum pump assembly.
