Installation Procedure

  1. Position and install the air cleaner outlet duct to the MAF/IAT sensor and the throttle body.
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the air cleaner outlet duct bolt (2) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  3. Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamps (1, 3) at the MAF/IAT sensor and throttle body to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

  4. Position the PCV tube.
  5. Connect the PCV fresh air tube (1) quick connect fitting to the air cleaner outlet duct.
  6. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement .
