Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect cable from negative battery terminal. refer TO Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  2. Remove the right engine under cover.
  3. Remove the generator assembly. Refer to Generator Replacement (2.4L)

  4. Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector (1).
  5. Separate the crankshaft position sensor connector clamp and wire harness (3).
  6. Remove the bolt and crankshaft position sensor (4).
