Removal Procedure

Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement
Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling
Remove the air cleaner cap with hose.
Remove the air cleaner case.

Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector (1).

Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor (1) and gasket (2).
