Solenoid Valve (Neutral Position)

Test is okay if Lamp 3 (Green) comes on. Go to PROGRAM SWITCH POSITION 2. If Lamp 4 (Red) indicator light comes on, check following:

• Ground connection has excessive contact resistance or an open in wiring harness.
• Turn off ignition. Pull off control unit plug and check continuity in following wires: from ground to hydraulic unit terminal No. 8 and from terminal No. 8 to control unit plug terminal No. 32.
• Solenoid valve relay malfunctioning.
