Engine Identification

Engine identification number is located on the left side of the engine crankcase next to the clutch housing. The 2.5L Non-Turbo with manual transmission is referred to as the M44/07 and the automatic transmission model is referred to as the M44/08. The turbo model, which has manual transmission only, is the M44/51.
